Who builds it

A small team building the platform, and running a studio on it.

The people behind SynthWeave are few, senior, and building in the open. Not a large org with a logo out front and a layer of managers between the work and the people who do it. We build the agent operating platform, and we run our own studio on top of it, so the thing we sell is the thing we use all day. The names below are the whole picture: the founders, an engineering bench from leading AI teams, a product leader, and marketers from the biggest names in consumer. Senior all the way through, and small enough to hold in your head.

The principals

Built inside our own P&L before it was anyone else's.

Brian Bigelow, founder. A University of Washington computer science graduate and tech entrepreneur who has spent ten years building, growing, and exiting DTC companies: more than $100M in sales in the last three years, $150M over the last eight, and three DTC brands built and sold. He stood this system up inside his own P&L before deploying it into anyone else's. He is an operator who has owned the growth number and answered for it, not a principal narrating a case study.

Blake Allsmith, co-founder. Blake built Cladwell, a VC-backed SaaS (500 Startups; exited to private equity in 2019). He spent six years running Allsmith, an agency with 200+ clients installing full fractional growth teams for SaaS and ecommerce brands. He coaches venture-backed companies, and he is the author of The Family Framework, out this fall.

Engineering

Built by people who came from leading AI teams.

The principals are few and named on purpose. The people building the platform are not few. Engineering is led by Micah, Brian's shipping partner of twenty years, who led engineering for a class-leading, Series A-funded startup, and the bench includes alumni of Anthropic's red team, LlamaIndex, and other leading AI teams. They build the agent operating platform, scars included.

Product

Shaped by founders and Techstars mentors.

Product is led by Emiliano, a Techstars All-Star mentor and an exited founder. The roadmap is set by someone who has built and sold before.

Marketing

Marketers from the biggest names in consumer.

The marketing bench is deep: operators with backgrounds at Unilever, Nike, and ING, and a consumer founder with two exits, in addition to Brian.

The proof is the work

We run our own operation on this.

The strongest thing we can say about the platform is that we bet our own operation on it. We took it from first commit to production in eight months, and we run a studio on SynthWeave every day, roughly 50 production tools and live brands, scars included. That is the proof line, and it is ours, not a customer's. Sutton, our AI marketing agents, runs on the same platform, the way everything we build does. Exits run through the team, too: an exited founder in product, a two-exit consumer operator in marketing, Blake's Cladwell to private equity, on top of the three DTC brands Brian built and sold. That is the record standing behind the platform.

How the team is built

A small team with an unreasonable amount of leverage.

We hire wherever the best person happens to be: the United States, El Salvador, Brazil, Vietnam, Bosnia, Malaysia, and Kenya. The goal is a world-class AI-native team, not a cheap one, and the map is the evidence. The depth sits behind the platform; the people are named, senior, and few enough to hold in your head. If you build things unprompted and you have run something real, we would rather hear from you than not.

We run it too

The team is small. The record it keeps is not.

You do not have to take our word for any of this. The same platform this team builds is the one it runs its own studio on, and every run is a record you can read. Talk to us, read the trace, or, if you would rather build it with us, the open roles are one click away.
