AI-Native Marketing Strategist

One strategist. A full AI execution layer. Growth lines from $10M to $100M+.

Apply

The problem this job exists to solve

You have thirty ideas a quarter. You ship four.

Not because the other twenty-six were bad. Because the designer is booked, the copywriter is on another account, the media buyer wants a brief before Thursday, and by the time the test is live the insight that made it worth running is eight weeks stale.

Every good strategist we know is running at a fraction of their capacity. The bottleneck was never the thinking. It was the queue in front of the thinking. We removed the queue.

What the job is

You run entire growth lines, $10M to $100M+ in revenue, as one person. Not one person with a team. One person directing an AI execution layer that writes the copy, builds and ships the landing pages, develops the creative concepts, runs the technical SEO and AEO work, structures the campaigns, pulls the competitive intelligence and writes the email flows.

You set the strategy. You make the calls. You read the numbers. The system does the building.

  • Take a brand apart. What it sells, to whom, against whom, and where the money leaks.
  • Rewrite the positioning and the offer, then have the system rebuild the funnel in days instead of a quarter.
  • Put twenty creative concepts into market where your old shop managed three.
  • Tell a client's VP of Growth the thing their agency will not.
  • Find the workflow missing from our system and build it yourself. That one is close to half the job.

Every engagement ends one of two ways

We go into a company, map how their marketing actually works, and rebuild it on our system. Then either we keep running it, with you staying on as their strategist and the software underneath you, or we hand it over and you transition their team onto the system we leave behind.

You will do this repeatedly, across companies. The transformation is the product.

The system you would be handed

Sutton (getsutton.ai) is the operating layer clients buy. It covers the funnel: media buying, ad creative, creative strategy, SEO and AEO, landing pages, CRO and email. On media, the AI plans, diagnoses, structures and briefs. A human gate activates live spend. Nothing moves a client's budget without a person saying yes, and that person is you.

SynthWeave is the record underneath it. One permissioned context that people and agents both read from and write back to, so the work compounds instead of scattering across five tools. It is why the second brand you run is faster than the first, and the twentieth is faster than the second.

Day to day you will live in Claude Code, Codex and our own tooling. We wrote most of it. You can change all of it.

This job is for you if

  • You have run marketing end to end. Either you led multiple functions at a direct-to-consumer company, or you were the strategist on accounts at a performance agency.
  • You build things, unprompted. n8n, Make, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, scripts, scrapers, whatever it was. On your own time, because you could not help yourself. We will teach you Claude Code and Codex. We cannot teach you the instinct to go and build the thing.
  • You have real opinions about creative. You can watch an ad and say why it works, not whether you like it. And you have bought media, or sat close enough to argue with the buyer and be right.
  • You decide on incomplete information and you are right often enough to keep deciding. You would rather run the test than hold the meeting about the test.
  • You want the account, not the org chart.

This job is not for you if

  • You want to manage people. There is no team under you. There never will be. Your leverage is the machine, not headcount, and if that reads as a demotion, this is the wrong job.
  • Your AI experience is asking ChatGPT for first drafts. Everybody does that now. It is not what this is.
  • You need a brief. You write the brief.
  • You are a channel specialist and want to stay one. The whole funnel is the unit of work here.
  • You want a settled process. We change how we work every few weeks, because the tools change every few weeks.
  • Being wrong in public is expensive to you. You will be wrong in public, in front of clients, with money on it, regularly. What matters is how fast you notice and what you do next.

Requirements

  • Five or more years in marketing strategy, growth or creative strategy, with real budget behind you at some point. Seven figures a year, minimum.
  • Near-native English, written and spoken. You are on calls with US brand leadership every week and your copy goes in front of their customers. Solid professional English is not the bar here.
  • Based in Latin America, working US business hours.
  • A demonstrable AI build practice. Not a certificate. Something you made.

Compensation

$6,000 to $8,000 USD per month, depending on experience. If you could take a portfolio of brands from day one, we pay above that band. Tell us what the number is and why you are worth it. What we pay depends on what you can run on day one, not on how long you have been doing this. Nothing in Requirements is negotiable at the floor.

To be direct about what this is. It is a Latin America band. We are not a US company paying US salaries and we are not pretending to be. If you are benchmarking against a US package, with US equity and US benefits, that is a different job at a different company.

We hire in Latin America on purpose. Our two most senior marketing people are already in the region. This is not a US job offshored to save money and you would not be the cheap seat on an American team. It is where we are building. What we will not do is pay the local average. We would rather have one exceptional strategist at the top of this band than three good ones at the bottom of it.

How to apply

Do not send a resume on its own. Send three things.

  • Something you built. A repo, an n8n workflow, a Loom of it running, a screenshot. We care what it does and why you built it. We do not care what you built it in, or whether the code is clean.
  • One paragraph on a marketing decision you got wrong. What you believed, how you found out, what you changed.
  • Optional, and the one we read first. Pick any brand, ours or anyone else's. In 200 words or fewer, tell us what you would change first, and why.
